Kasparov was one of the first demos to really take advantage of the brutal power of today's hardware accelerated graphics cards. It's running in a high resolution, and features an extremely huge 3D scene, with very detailed and good textures. And that's about it. After 10 minutes of this you're quite bored, to say the least, and very fed up with the soundtrack, which, in my opinion, is pure terror for the ears. It has to be said that music is a very individual thing though. A demo with great 3D, great textures, but practically no design in my opinion. It's not even trying to tell a story of some sort, like most of nowaday' s 3D demos, just 3D fly-by scenes. Therefore I'll give it a rating of 4 out of 6. What happened to the design, like in their Rxx "demos", that they entered in demo compos all around Europe, where they proclaimed world domination during TP9? Nevertheless, a demo you'll have to see.
