This demo was one of the two really great demos from the breakthrough-year of the pc demoscene, namely 1993. This is a coder's demo, with lots of raw maths involved, resulting in awesome 3d scenes and the best fractal-zoomer the world has ever seen. Even today, noone has made a better fractal-zoomer than Triton, although the one in "juice" by Psychic Link (1995) is quite good. The demo also features some neat raytraced pictures, raytraced in their own raytracer, just keep the year 1993 in mind. The final part is a wonderful 3d scene featuring the last moves in a game of chess. It has multiple lightsources, and the works. No demo-collection is complete without this one. Update: sadly, this demo will not work on machines faster than 300mhz(?) due to the dreaded pascal-bug. It isn't possible to patch the executable either (possibly due to some fancy encryption or something, and I at least am no hacker).
